Ski Vasaåket Hemma (Home Edition) 2021 wherever you are in the world!

If you cannot travel to Sweden this winter you can choose to complete Vasaåket any time and anywhere during the period of February 12 – March 7, 2021. Select Vasaåket Hemma (Home Edition) in your booking. There are four different distances to choose between and you use the official Vasaloppet app.

To participate in Vasaåket Hemma (Home Edition), you must first download the free Vasaloppet app which will allow you to complete your own Vasaåket, regardless of where in the world you are.

Via the Vasaloppet app, you can record your own race. The app is free and available for Android phones in Google Play and for Apple phones in the Apple App Store.

The following distances must be reached in Vasaåket Hemma (Home Edition) 2021:
Vasaåket 90: 90.0 km
Vasaåket 45: 42.3 km
Vasaåket 30: 27.5 km
Vasaåket 10: 8.5 km
(These are the actual arena distances this year.)

Via the app, you will be digitally navigated through the Vasaloppet Arena from start to finish. Friends and family can also follow you directly via the app and track your progress.

When passing each virtual checkpoint you and your followers will get a notification message on your phones.

After finishing, your total time and checkpoint times will be available at vasaloppet.se. When you have completed Vasaåket, you can download a digital diploma as proof of your achievement. It will also be possible to order a printed diploma. A medal will be sent to you a few weeks after you have completed Vasaåket Hemma.

If you do not want to use a smartphone, you can enter the details of your Vasaåket manually after finishing.
