Nation record in Vasaloppet's Winter Week 2017
Vasaloppet's Winter Week 2017 starts on Friday, February 24, with Kortvasan. So far, participants from 58 different nations, from all continents, have registered for Vasaloppet's Winter Week 2017. The earlier record of 55 nations was from 2016.
Apart from Sweden there are participants from 57 nations, making a total of 58. For comparison, the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun 2015 had participants from 55 nations and the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti 2017 will have participants from 60 nations.
Vasaloppet's Winter Week takes place February 24 – March 5, 2017. In total there are over 7,200 international participants registered, of which about 3,300 are in Vasaloppet on March 5. The overview below shows how many skiers so far (as of 2017-02-14) are registered from the 15 nations with most participants (excluding Sweden).
