Get ready for Ultravasan, Vasastafetten and Vasakvartetten 2019

Vasaloppet's Summer Week and the Vasaloppet year 2019 will wrap up on Saturday, August 17 with the big running day where over 6,000 people participate; both world elite runners and exercisers from 22 countries. About 2,000 run individually and 4,000 are running relay races. Here we'll give some facts, favourites, statistics and trivia in preparation for the races.

Fritjof Fagerlund and Alexandra Morozova won Ultravasan 90 2018

A record number of participants came to the start of the fifth Ultravasan, which ran under ideal conditions yesterday: 1,042 runners took off from Sälen at 05:00 to run 90 km while 802 runners started in Oxberg at 07:00 to run 45 km. Fritjof Fagerlund, Sweden, and Alexandra Morozova, Russia, are the winners of Ultravasan 90 2018. Swedish David Nilsson and Lisa Ring won Ultravasan 45.
