Ski Classics-säsongen har nått ”halvtid”. Det åttonde loppet, Jizerská50 i Tjeckien, som skulle ha avgjorts på söndag den 11 februari har blivit inställt. Who will win Vasaloppet and Tjejvasan 2024?

The Ski Classics season has reached its "midpoint." The eighth race, Jizerská50 in the Czech Republic, scheduled for Sunday, February 11, has been cancelled. This means that Ski Classics' next two races will take place in Grönklitt, followed by the Ski Classics Challenger race Tjejvasan on February 24. On March 3, it's time for the highlight of the year, the 100th Vasaloppet.

The 100th Vasaloppet! The start is in Sälen on Sunday, March 3 at 08:00. Millions of TV viewers worldwide can follow the race, which was fully booked already in March 2023.

Vasaloppet lowers age limits in several races

Vasaloppet's management has decided to change the minimum age requirement for participation in five of its ski races during Vasaloppet's Winter Week. This comes after the Swedish Ski Association made changes to age regulations for the 2023/24 season and beyond. Here is all the information on the new age limits.

Emil Persson och Emilie Fleten vann Vasaloppet 2023

Efter tio raka norska herrsegrar i Vasaloppet kom äntligen en svensk seger igen i det 99:e loppet när Emil Persson vann spurten närmast före norrmännen Andreas Nygaard och Kasper Stadaas. I damklassen blev det norsk seger när Emilie Fleten tog sin allra första seger i Ski Classics. Tvåa blev Silje Öyre Slind och trea blev Ida Dahl.

Emil Persson and Emilie Fleten won Vasaloppet 2023

After ten Norwegian male victories in Vasaloppet, the 99th race finally saw a Swedish win again with Emil Persson crossing the finish line just ahead of Norwegian Andreas Nygaard and Kasper Stadaas. The women's class had a Norwegian winner with Emilie Fleten taking her very first Ski Classics victory. Second place was Silje Öyre Slind and third was Ida Dahl.
